I have recently had cause to visit both Male GP partner for my son and female partner GP for my own health needs. On each occasion I have submitted an online form and been contacted with in the specified time frame and offered appropriate appointments. The male lead Partner took time to speak to my son understand not just the presenting issues but underlying concerns and was able to establish a meaningful and valuable plan of action that my son felt included in. a follow up was arranged and other support avenues flagged. the time taken to listen and provide support was exceptional. it was a real reminder of how valuable the expertise of the GP is. My own appointment with the female Partner at the practice was equally supportive, navigating me through a scary reaction to a prescribed medication and offering me the necessary reassurance and support to take time to look for an alternative.

I was offered a route for follow up and encouraged to consider taking time out of work to prioritise my health needs in a mature and professionally respectful way. the experience of my family under the care of this team is superb. I would recommend the practice to anyone locally looking for a practice that allows you to share responsibility for your health and have clear open discussion. we have felt involved in care and while we try to minimise burdening the NHS when our need has been voiced the response has been swift professional, appropriate and kind.
