"Rude and gas lighting GP"

About: Central

Received an appointment on my NHS app for a specific time for a phone appointment with the GP. Never got called, rang the surgery twice in 3 hours to ask for an update, for told that the app shouldn't have given a time. The GP called 5 hours after the appointment time that they booked, started the call off with a strange tone, advised I needed referring from a procedure 4 weeks ago, and confirmed he had received the referral letter 3 weeks ago. I asked if the referral was already done (it had been 3 weeks since the letter) he said no, they've had holidays. I said no problem and asked how long the waiting list is, he stated a year. I asked if there was anything they could do to make me comfortable for the years wait, as the condition is painful, he was rude and stated no and that he was reporting me to the practice manager for being difficult. Then he left notes on my NHS app stating I was difficult (if asking questions about my care is being difficult, then I'm unclear how patients can get help). I was never rude, question questioning, which is a patients right, so that we can understand our care going forward. The doctor was rude, gas lit me by writing an incorrect report, even though he advised the calls are recorded. If the call was listened to the practice would see I was not rude, and simply asked questions for my ongoing care. Totally unprofessional, uncaring and inappropriate behavior from a professional in the "caring industry".
