About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I had an abnormal smear at the end of last year and needed a colposcopy/leap test and a follow up smear.

Through the process Kirsty the Gynaecologist and Carol (Nurse) at Inverclyde Royal were so helpful, reassuring and informative. Kirsty went out of her way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible and that I understood everything as I was quite upset and anxious at my appointments.

They both made me feel so at ease and I am so grateful for their professionalism and compassion during a difficult time.

Thank you so much for spending the time to offer feedback on our fabulous L Centre team.

I appreciate this appointment can make you feel anxious and at times upset.

I am delighted our nurse colposcopist Kirsty and our staff nurse Carol were helpful, reassuring and informative.

Kirsty delivers a high standard of care so it it great to hear she went out of her way to make sure you were as comfortable as possible and that you understood everything.

I will be happy to share that hey both made you feel at ease and that you are so grateful for their professionalism and compassion during a difficult time. Feedback like this is really appreciated by the team.
