"Amazing consultant"

This was my first appointment with rheumatology since being referred. I can not compliment Dr McDonald who seen me at Omagh Primary Care Complex enough for her professional manner.

A doctor who reads a patient's notes to gather a background history before they are called into the room makes such a big difference & makes me feel that I don’t have to explain a long term medical history.

This consultant gave me an examination on where I was complaining of pain. She explained exactly what tests she was going to organise to investigate the reason behind my pains. She provided much reassurance to me. This doctor acted quickly on these investigations as I received appointments for them fairly quickly. She is the first doctor I have seen in a long time that has carried out what she said she was going to do. 

I even got to have a test done that day in clinic, which was a bonus that I didn’t have to wait. After every investigation, Dr McDonald made contact which I was really grateful for to provide reassurance to me.

If only there was more consultants like this young lady!
