"Thoughtful and courteous physio"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Physiotherapy

(as a relative),

My husband attended his second physiotherapy appointment this afternoon in order to improve his movement following a fracture.

Aaron, to whom his appointment was allocated, called him and introduced himself to both of us. As my husband has mobility problems, Aaron took his time and offered assistance if required, which we both thought was so thoughtful and courteous.

We followed Aaron to an enclosed area where he read my husband's notes and proceeded to observe any improvement achieved. My husband has been painstakingly performing his exercises as Laura had so expertly explained at his previous visit.

Aaron seemed pleased with the progress made and he then suggested further excercises with aids to attain a better result. He then took the time to demonstrate what and how to use, same as Laura had done, gave him written instructions as to the next level.

Again we both left the department having gained further knowledge and positive as to ongoing improvement to his injury.

Dear Masterclass, many thanks for taking the time to send this lovely compliment for Aaron. I will forward your kind words on Aaron, and it is great for him and the wider physiotherapy team to hear such positive feedback.

I hope that your husband continues to make progress in his recovery from his injury.

Many thanks

Aidan Rooney - Principal Physiotherapist Trauma and Orthopaedics
