On behalf of my mother, who has been diagnosed with vascular dementia. We recently from an incredible team of clinical dementia advisors. Namely - Nathan, Paige and Jenny from the East Community Mental Health Team.
From the moment they spoke to mum and I. I realised they were in our corner and working to support us both. Over two visits the team advised us in a way that made sense and was easy to action. They passed on information, liaised with other departments and made us both feel supported.
They leave you feeling that they actually care. For me as mum's sole carer. It's been incredible to be able to discuss not only her requirements. But my own. I would sincerely like to thank all three professionals, for the support and advice...and understanding. That they have offered over the last month.
