"Very Disappointed"

I Changed to this practice, since it is closer to home. My first visit, was very disappointing. I felt I was on a conveyor belt, with time being of the essence. The Dr just couldn't get me out quick enough. Only one of my concerns was addressed, with medication being prescribed. For another, I was told to make an appointment for a blood test, to assess my blood sugar levels (I am diabetic), which I did the same day. I had to chase the practice after waiting 2 weeks, to ascertain the results, which I did yesterday 16th June, to be told the results were abnormal, which they expected. Since I am taking two different prescribed medications designed to regulate my blood sugars, and had taken a fasting reading just the day before, which was high, I needed to know more from the Dr about the results and any recommendations as to treatment that would improve matters. The receptionist said she would speak to the Dr and get back to me-I am still waiting 24 hours later. It seems to me that, rather than providing care in assisting me with my health issues, taking me on as a new patient, just simply improves there financial income. Needless to say, I am now reviewing other practices in my area, with a view to changing yet again.
