"Getting Route Appointments Mission Impossible"

I called yesterday to make a routine appointment and was told there were no appointments available today nor in the future. The receptionist suggested calling each week and that perhaps at some point an appointment might become available.

Presumably they still have emergency appointments - but anything routine is impossible. Routine would be being in terrible pain, suspicious lumps and bumps and other issues. The reality is that a delay in seeing someone about what seems minor may lead to bigger issues later on.

On the plus side the surgery when I pick up my medicine is always very quiet.
