About: Phoenix Medical Practice

I have been under the pain management consultant at kings, guys and st Thomas in London, for approx 7 years, i have been on very strong painkillers, Tapentadol and now morphine and due to a planned spinal inplant I am having to wean off my morphine, this operation has been postponed, don't know why , the consultant has told me not to wean of my painkillers any further until after my operation, however a letter has been sent to my GP asking to support me with my pain management until after my operation, however I asked for my prescription of my morphine and was only given 3 days supply and when emailed and asked for a month's supply, this was refused by the doctor, I was told to phone my consultant who I am lucky to get to speak to once every 2 years, so come middle of June i will be without any pain management so therefore my wife will have to take me to A&E wasting our time and money, baring in mind I am also diabetic and don't know how this will effect my diabetes
