I am 84 years old. My husband is 86. I have been trying to get an appointment for the last 2 weeks.
I do not have a computer. I have a phone but need help fully using it.
I rang for an appointment and they told me I must now use a form that they text me. It was difficult to complete. I managed to do it. I did not hear anything back from the triage nurse who is supposed to review your “request for an appointment” and deem if it is worthy enough for you to see an actual doctor.
I waited a week, whilst remaining in pain, before ringing again. The receptionist would not book me an appointment and said she would send me another message for me to respond to. I did so and again waited and waited. After another week I called back. They would not book an appointment. They told me they had not got my requests!
The receptionist then had to fill in the request over the phone with me. I am still now waiting for the nurse to decide if I am going to see a doctor.
This used to be a good practice. I have been registered here since it opened. It has gone continuously worse. I don’t even know who my actual doctor is anymore.
