"Made me feel guilty"

About: The Surgery (Cranwich Road)

(as a parent/guardian),

I feel like one of the doctors didn't treat me as if I had the right to decide for myself about vaccinating my children. I feel like my decision was resented I left feeling guilty.

Dear Parent,

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you left the practice feeling guilty — that was certainly not our intention.

As healthcare providers, it is our duty of care to strongly emphasize the importance of childhood vaccinations. This is especially critical given the recent measles outbreak in North East London. Vaccinations are essential to protect your child’s health and to help prevent the spread of serious illnesses within the community.

We understand that these decisions can be difficult, and we are here to support you with information and guidance every step of the way. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
