"My granda being on the stroke ward"

About: Older people's healthcare / Stroke Unit Ward 40

(as a relative),

I would like to thank the physiotherapist Jake on the Stroke ward for all that he done for my granda.

My granda really liked him, a relationship was formed and he really appreciated his care. In liaising with the OT and SW, a discharge home was prompt.

Jake also kept family members up-to-date and made sure that my granda was at the centre of his care.

Dear Keala

My name is Louise Brown, I am the Principal Physiotherapist for Adult Neurological Rehabilitation in the WHSCT, and Jakes line manager.

Firstly, thankyou for sharing your story on Care Opinion.

I am so delighted to hear your story and experience of the care your Granda received from Jake and the physiotherapy team, whilst he was a patient on the stroke ward. I have personally shared this with Jake.

With kind regards to you both

Louise
