"All the staff were warm and reassuring"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Gynaecology Clinic

(as a service user),

I recently needed to attend a gynaecology clinic at Stobhill hospital. All the staff, including the receptionist, were warm and reassuring.

I was advised there might be a significant wait for results given current pressures. However, I then received a call from the consultant approx a month later to advise me of my results. She did this to avoid any delay given the admin backlog. I felt this was so emphatic and it made a huge difference in reassuring me.

I am very grateful to Dr Kumar and her team.

Dear Majella71,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind feedback.

We're truly heartened to hear that your experience at the gynaecology clinic at Stobhil was a positive and reassuring one. It means a great deal to know that the warmth and professionalism of the entire team—from the reception staff to Dr Kumar—helped put you at ease during what can understandably be a stressful time.

We're especially glad that Dr Kumar's personal call helped to provide clarity and comfort despite the current challenges with admin delays. Your words are a wonderful reminder of the impact compassionate care can have, and we will ensure your feedback is passed on to Dr Kumar and the whole team.

Kind regards,

Nikki
