"Positive experience"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department Craigavon Area Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

GP sent me to the Emergency Department for an x-ray on my arm which they thought might have been fractured by a fall.

When I arrived I checked in with reception, staff who were pleasant and helpful.

I was seen quite quickly by a really lovely and helpful Triage nurse called Judith, who realised I would be waiting for hours on the x-ray as they were extremely busy.

Judith spent some time trying to sort me out with the Minor Injuries and managed to get me an appointment for that morning.  I saw a very friendly and professional doctor, was sent for an x-ray, no broken bones thankfully just ligament damage and was referred for physiotherapy.

My experience was very positive and I really appreciated everything that was done for me.

Dear decemberde66 - thank you so much for taking time to provide this feedback in relation to your experience. We are sorry for the delay in responding to you. It is lovely to read your kind words and that the triage nurse, Judith and the doctor were able to sort out an appointment for you.

With best wishes and thanks again

Christine Armstrong
