My daughter with special needs had been referred to community dentist. She has 2 cavities and needed to be checked. My daughter who is 7 years old has a fear of the dentist and gets upset along with major anxiety even stepping foot into the dentist.
The staff at the Bangor community dentist were very helpful and just chatted to my daughter, very friendly and gave her a special toothbrush for her to use.
They made my daughter feel at ease so much that she actually let the dentist check her teeth.
After we had finished our appointment my daughter had felt so my at ease and even happy to come back.
To me this was such a turn around with my daughter I was so thankful and happy that the staff took the time to look at my daughter's situation, to chat to me and speak to my daughter on her level.
We came up with a plan to come back for regular check ups to get my daughter more used to the dentist. I was very relieved and so happy with the staff that helped us on our appointment.
