"I can’t speak highly enough of their care"

About: Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre / Haematology Ambulatory Care Service Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre / Macmillan Day Unit Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre / Ward B7 Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre / Ward B8 (Haematology)

(as the patient),

I required care at the Beatson with my treatment there commencing in June 2023.

I had never had a stay in hospital previously and was rather apprehensive. I needn’t have worried as the staff who looked after me there put me at ease and I can’t speak highly enough of their care shown to patients and their families. Everyone of them a credit to the NHS.

From the Beatson volunteers with their tea and biscuits to the consultants and everyone in between they are a truly caring team. My visits took me to ECU, the PET, CT Centre, Clinical trials as well as wards B7 and B8 the Haematolgy Day Unit.
