"The prompt treatment & care I received no doubt saved my life"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Oncology Oncology / Cancer Centre Ward 2A

(as the patient),

I was sent to OAHU & Ward 2A with a PICC line infection.  I had my chemo and I was extremely sick as My GP said I had possible sepsis, I was so scared.

Me & my family would like to say Thank you to Emma & Eddie for their dedicated care & compassion they displayed.  I was made to feel at ease and the prompt treatment & care I received no doubt saved my life.

I was so glad to see Eddie again down on the ward.  His nursing care was exceptional, not only to me but for the other patients I witnessed him care for. He made us smile with his humour and made me feel so safe.

Forever Grateful

Thank you very much for taking the time to describe your experience in AOHU and Ward 2A and giving some lovely positive feedback. It is much appreciated and I will pass these onto the staff who cared for you.

I hope you have made a good recovery and continue to keep well.
